About Frank
After earning his PhD in Biochemical Pharmacology, Frank joined Johnson & Johnson in 1984 as a scientist at Janssen in Belgium. He became the founding General Manager of Janssen Biotech in 1987, was promoted to Vice President at Janssen R&D in 1991 and to Senior Vice President in 1999. In 2000, while in charge of J&J Pharma’s Global Clinical Operations, he relocated to New Jersey and in 2003 rotated into J&J Consumer. Frank became a member of J&J Consumer’s Group Operating Committee in 2011 and 2012, after which he was selected as the leader of Global OTC R&D and in 2017 as Chief Operating Officer.
In 2020, upon retiring from J&J, Frank became AlstonBrantley's Managing Director. In that capacity, he also serves as a Board Member for or a Senior Advisor to some of the emerging bioscience or fintech companies AlstonBrantley invests in or partners with.
Frank is a distinguished scientist with around 1,500 citations of his 17 neurochemistry and genomics publications in international peer-reviewed journals. He applies his analytical skills and solution-finding creativity to turn around lagging legacy functions and to build new high-impact capabilities in Prescription Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Healthcare alike.
